2020-2021 Data
In the period of 2020-2021, Belarusian Students' Association together with its partners collected evidence of 538 politically motivated detentions, 246 politically motivated expulsions, as well as 52 politically motivated criminal cases against Belarusian students.
At least 52 students are in captivity as of the end of 2021. 10 of them directly for student activism and cooperation with Belarusian Students' Association.

Some examples of the sentences imposed:

- Yauhen Kalinouski was sentenced to 4 years for defending peaceful protests participants on July 14 from the police brutality.
- Artsyom Vinakurau was sentenced to 3 years for entering the auditorium during the classes and calling participants to join the strike;
- Sofia Malashevich was sentenced to 2 years and Tikhan Klyukach to 1.5 years of imprisonment for painting the shields of police officers with a spray can;
- Alyaksei Machalau was sentenced to 1.5 years for a message in a backyard chat in which he called one of Minsk's police chiefs a thug.
- Ilya Tananka was sentenced to 1.5 years for the inscription "Balaba (head of Minsk riot police) is a murderer" on the wall of the residential house of the Interior Ministry officers.
