International work
BSA fights for the rights and interests of Belarusian students both on national and international levels.
The International department's
three areas of work:
BSA is a legitimate member of ESU (the organization, uniting all the European student unions and associations). Thanks to this membership, we can keep contact with the bodies of the Bologna process and lobby our students' interests in European organizations.
BSA maintains student repression statistics and drafts reports on human rights violations in Academia in Belarus for Bologna Process, the European Parliament, OSCE and the UN.
We raise funds to provide financial support for the students who suffered under the regime (fines, relocation funds, Smolich Scholarship etc).

BSA expresses its gratitude for solidarity with repressed members of Belarusian academia, however, it is crucial to mention lack of transparency, scholarship payment delays and student participation in decision making bodies of aforementioned support systems. Considering all these facts and bearing in mind difficult material situation Belarusian students at risk face in exile, BSA issues a statement on ways to improve the situation.
